Beginner Alto Saxophone Lessons

You can use these online saxophone lessons for beginners as a stand-alone system for learning to play the saxophone. Or, you can use them to supplement and complement saxophone lessons you might have in private or at school. Either way, these beginner saxophone lessons will get you up and running quickly and reload your playing. As part of our beginner saxophone lesson trip together we will be playing a lot by ear. This means that we will be using our ears to hear, our eyes to look and our brains to translate it all in our fingers and our mouths on our saxophones. Reading music is important, but playing music is important too. Initially, we’ll just focus on the game. Here at How to Play Sax, we’ll have fun. We’ll take a few simple, traditional songs, learn them first, and then play with them. We will brighten them up, slow them down, rock them and change them completely. In addition to the video lessons, we have backing tracks as MP3 files that you can also download. Play them on your computer, phone, tablet, stereo and play on your saxophone. There are also PDF files to download (and print if you want) to help you learn the saxophone more easily.

Content and overview
I have designed this program to help you start your musical journey on the tenor saxophone in the most effective and fun way. This program is suitable for anyone who has the desire to play and who has a working tenor saxophone. There are over 2.5 hours of video lessons and practice videos.
The layout of the course uses a simple format:
-1 course video explaining a new concept / technique,
-1 practice video with voiceover and graphics to help you play with the teacher on screen in “real time”“.
There are twelve sets of lessons and practice videos that help you learn melody, rhythm, harmony, and improvisation. This program also contains a “Jam Room” with a virtual band with which you can play at different speeds. As a bonus, there are also five easy-to-make animated music theory videos that explain the basics of music.
