Productivity and Time Management for the Overwhelmed
If you have more to do than time and are often overwhelmed with all your priorities and tasks, you’ve come to the right place! I designed this course to help people from all walks of life who are struggling to do everything. At the same time, I have done my best to design this course as efficiently as possible because time is our most precious resource. This course will focus on three areas or sections. Each is designed to build on the other, but each talk is clearly labeled by concept, so you’ll also be able to come back and talk about specific topics that are most useful to you.
In our first section, we’ll focus on what causes our overflow and what leads us to procrastinate.
In our second section, we build the foundation for a new level of productivity and cover the fundamentals and key concepts you need to master to really get the results you want and be a productivity master. If you don’t start with the right fundamentals, even the best tips and tricks won’t be fully utilized.
Finally, in our final section, we’ll build on the foundation we’ve created by implementing proven productivity and time management tactics and strategies to really dramatically improve your productivity.
You’re going to learn:
Take control of their state of mind and energy level to increase your productivity
Find out why you are not as productive as you could be and make a plan to improve yourself

You could be an employee who doesn’t feel organized, a manager or executive learning to manage your own work and be an effective leader at the same time, a working parent, or someone who has recently said one of the following things:
“I just don’t have enough hours in the day!”
“I have too much on my plate!”
“I have no downtime!”
“I feel like I’m failing at work AND at home!”
“Planning is stressing me out!”
Do you wake up at night thinking about something you need to do at work tomorrow? Do you go to bed thinking about all the things you haven’t done today? Do you fall exhausted every night without having had time for yourself? Do you often find yourself struggling to get things done at the last minute?

Time is a finite resource, and perhaps the most precious. In the digital age, our time and attention are being drawn in more directions than ever before. Mastering time management is essential for living a balanced and fulfilling life. Most time management and productivity books and apps claim to be the silver bullet, if you can just keep up with them. However, they do not take into account the fact that we are all different. Not everything will work for everyone. In this course, we start with who YOU are, to create a system that works specifically for you.
The lectures in this course are supplemented with exercises such as uncovering your personal productivity barriers, creating a task system, creating action plans to minimize distractions and increase focus, building a personalized “menu” of rewards and breaks, etc. The exercises ensure that you apply the lecture content in a practical and pragmatic way.

Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less

Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown it is more than a time management strategy or a productivity technique. It is a systematic discipline to discern what is absolutely essential and then eliminate all that is not, so that we can make the greatest possible contribution to the things that really matter. By forcing us to apply more selective criteria for what is essential, disciplined pursuit at least allows us to regain control of our own decisions about where to spend our precious time and energy, rather than giving others control. Implied permission to choose for us.
