Chair yoga can be the perfect practice to help you slowly develop balance and stability, while also improving strength and flexibility.

People with reduced mobility often think that yoga is not accessible to them. It absolutely can be. By moving slowly and consciously, you can open up narrow areas of your body in a safe and positive way.

Kassandra walks you step by step through each of the poses. Its step-by-step instructions let you follow through without having to keep your eyes on the screen. You can practice at your own pace from the comfort of your home and it will feel like you are in the studio. You won’t feel like you are “missing” anything. You will also find that it is more time consuming and more profitable than a normal course.

This course includes 3 easy classes:

Slow Flow – Level 1: Start slowly so you can build a solid foundation. You will remain seated in the chair for the duration of the practice and you will focus on opening your neck, shoulders and hips.
Balance and Stability – Level 2: Slightly faster pace. You will incorporate standing poses while using the chair for balance and stability. This is the ideal course for people who work slowly to regain their strength and mobility.
Quick Energizer – All Levels: Designed to give you a quick energy boost through several simple poses including: twists, sideways bends and forward bends This is the perfect class to do while on your lunch break at work or whenever you feel lethargic.

Authentic Chair Yoga

The “Authentic Chair Yoga” course is for yoga practice with a chair only. I’ll show how simple it really is. You only need one or two chairs and 30 minutes a day to practice.

If you are a beginner, you can easily start doing yoga with a chair.

If you are a professional I am sure you will find new techniques.

The course consists of 11 videos divided into 6 sections with a description given of each video.

The course is designed for people who:

have been sitting for a long time
does not have time to attend group lessons
have been working in front of a computer for a long time
have had knee surgeries or have knee problems
beginners

You only need a week to complete this course.

Gentle Seated Chair Yoga

Mellow doesn’t have to be boring! Indulge yourself (or a loved one) with this nourishing chair yoga program designed to improve mobility and ease.

The focus of this program is real-time class, so most of it is videos where we practice yoga together. There are seven classes in total, including one with a focus on massage, and each class lasts between 35 and 40 minutes. As a series, they start off simple and build slowly in complexity and coordination, but each class is also a complete stand-alone practice on its own.

Each session begins and ends with a brief guided meditation to help you center and anchor yourself. It helps you relax and regulate yourself, which in turn reduces stress and anxiety.

This program is perfect for:

seniors looking for joint-gentle exercise known to reduce aches and pains
