Rhino 3D tutorials v5 & v6 Beginner Level to Advanced Level
I have been teaching Rhino for 6 years at university at Masters level for people interested in transportation and product design. I have used Rhino for 20 years and have also worked as an industrial designer in the aerospace industry for one of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers for 17 years. In the first few weeks, I’ll show you step by step how to move around Rhino 3D and use basic 2D and 3D tools. From there, I’ll share with you how you can edit and modify surfaces to add a greater level of detail. As we progress through the lessons, you’ll then learn how to render with basic Rhino rendering, followed by quick examples using standard rendering plug-ins such as Maxwell Render.
Finally, towards the end of the course, I will show you how to repair corrupted surfaces from imported files and introduce you to the principles of reverse engineering techniques based on a scanned clay model. Overall, the course contains a 10 week session. Each conference lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. I will also be doing lots of demos that are easy to follow and understand. These exercises will be made available to you for you to follow. Even though my tutorials are made on the v5 version, those of you who want to use the V6 version will have no problem following. Whether you are an industrial designer, architect, interior designer, engineer, technician or simply an amateur, can help you in your personal growth.
You will learn:
You will learn how to master 3D surfacing, prototyping and rendering with Rhino 3D.
You will be able to make your own products ranging from jewelry and furniture design to designing your own airplane.
Rhino 3D for Beginners
Rhino 3D for Beginners covers the basics of 3D modeling with Rhino 3D, one of the most powerful 3D modeling software on the market. The course is designed to bring students with no knowledge of 3D modeling to advanced levels in just a few hours.
I have been teaching Rhino 3d to students and professionals for over 10 years and have developed an accelerated teaching method designed to spark student enthusiasm for 3D modeling, without being bogged down by all the complexity of software. In this class, students will learn to go from idea to 3D model in a matter of hours, with little to no experience required. This course is intended for students or professionals (such as architecture, product design, jewelry design, furniture design, automotive design, etc.) as well as those who are simply looking to integrate powerful capabilities of 3D modeling to their skills.Upon completion, students will know how to apply 3D thinking to their projects and generate 3-dimensional models for production purposes, including visualization, prototyping, etc.
